Welcome to the Town of Ripley Comprehensive Plan Survey

The Town of Ripley has organized a local steering committee to work with professional planners to update the Town’s comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan communicates a community’s vision and goals and provides a guide for decision making. It also informs future land use, and serves as the basis for zoning, subdivision, and land use codes.

The following five priorities have emerged through the planning process so far. They were identified through feedback and discussions with the project steering committee and with community members at the first public open house in November 2022:

Infrastructure - Sewer, Water, Roads, Sidewalk, Broadband, Etc.
Ripley Hamlet & Main Street
Housing and Neighborhoods
Property Maintenance
Planning & Development on Shortman Road
